The thing that most speeders don't realize is that there are plenty of ways to limit your risk of getting a ticket while speeding. While we definitely don't advocate poor or dangerous driving, we do realize there are often legitimate reasons you are speeding, and that a lot of speeders are also good drivers who would never intentionally put other people at risk.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have been conscientiously *avoiding* anything to do with the 9/11 anniversary today. Maybe it's still "too soon" or maybe it's because watching talking heads dissect something so visceral is too painful.

But I found this story and had to read/watch. I think Keith Olbermann is often a pompous ass but, tonight, he is brilliant.

Five years later this space… is still empty.
Five years later there is no Memorial to the dead.
Five years later there is no building rising to show with proud defiance that we would not have our America wrung from us, by cowards and criminals.
Five years later this country’s wound is still open.
Five years… later this country’s mass grave is still unmarked.
Five years later… this is still… just a background for a photo-op.

Well, some Las Vegas cabbies have apparently taken to asking you if you want to take the freeway or the streets to your hotel. Freeway sounds faster, doesn't it?
