At a power plant in Missouri, a worker not so directly had his job threatened over a bumper sticker. The sticker read W.A.S.P. Beneath it was a wasp's silhouette. Below the wasp read Welders Against Stupid Pipefitters. The union pipefitters did not like the sticker. They called their business mngr who called the worker's union hall. The worker is considering joining the boilermaker union. A rep from the boilermaker union hall asked the worker to remove the sticker to promote comaraderie amongst the union trades. The worker asked what would become of his job if he didn't remove the sticker. He was told that whether he removed it or not should not have any relevance on whether a person is on the "out of work" list. You are placed on the out of work list once a job is completed or if you quit or if you are fired from a job. Normally you get called as soon as you are on the list to go back to work as long as you are a good worker. Normally...
